This Assessment Rubric includes 16 criteria and addresses the degree to which programs have developed and employed curricular and course learning goals/objectives for students and have developed and used assessments that are aligned with the learning outcomes desired for students at both the course and whole curriculum level. There are two major rating categories, A: Course-Level Assessment and B: Program-Level Assessment. The majority of criteria included in this rubric are broadly applicable to other STEM disciplines.
