The APS Effective Physiology Teaching Course provides foundational knowledge and experience in implementing effective teaching approaches for advanced trainees and early career faculty with limited teaching experience. This highly interactive professional development course prepares participants for academic positions that require teaching or are teaching-focused. During this course, participants will develop a teaching portfolio and application materials for teaching positions, receiving feedback through an iterative developmental process. Participants will also meet one-on-one with experienced mentors matched to their teaching aspirations.
